Job Description

Job Title: Audit: Associate Director / Director

Work Schedule: 9:00 PM 6:00 AM, Monday - Friday

Work Setup: Hybrid

Specifics of Work Setup:

  • Once a month or quarter onsite schedule depending on residence location
  • May be required to report onsite during training sessions or company activities, subject to the discretion of both the Client and/or D&V Management.

Office Assignment: Makati City

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the audit process for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries such as hotels, an electrical contractor (construction), and a few not-for-profits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and thoroughness in every audit and review engagements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of clients internal controls and provide actionable recommendations to enhance their processes and mitigate risks.
  • Assist with the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget. Review audit workpapers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review audit documentation, including workpapers and financial statements.
  • Ensure that all audit procedures are performed in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Work alongside audit partners and serve as the point of contact for clients during the audit process. Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing any issues that arise and providing expert guidance.
  • Apply the expertise in audit standards, practices, and procedures to ensure that all engagements meet the rigorous standards set by regulatory bodies and our firm.
  • Any other audit services required by the Client

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPA in the Philippines has 7 to 12 years of experience in public accounting
  • Possesses knowledge of technical audit and accounting standards.
  • Knows how to use Microsoft Office package.
  • Knowledge and experience with PFX Engagement is an advantage
  • Has developed expertise in a given industry (e.g. hotels, an electrical contractor (construction), and a few not-for-profits)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work well independently and as a team, handling stress under tight deadlines with commitment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
