Description
Supports the Senior Audit Associate on multiple audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing and completing financial audits.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assists the Audit Manger performing and documenting substantive audit procedures in accordance with the audit plan.
- Prepares draft reports and ensuring timely submission to immediate superior.
- Effectively apply knowledge in audit, accounting, and financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements to the assigned jobs, specific to clients concerns.
- Apply knowledge of the firm's audit methodology to perform and document the result of audit work using the firm's audit tool.
- Identifies audit issues and escalates to Manager as necessary.
- Capable to lead Junior Auditors and Audit In-charge in reviewing their work and providing guidance.
- Keep up ties with other engagement teams, track team progress against the plan, and push for performance when needed.
- Create networks and long-term connections both inside and internationally to identify new business opportunities.
Education and Qualifications
- Graduate of BSA or any 4-year related course.
- Certified Public Accountant is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of external audit experience in both local and international external audits is an advantage, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Must be willing to travel and do field work
- Willing to be assigned in Makati City
