This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong listening skills and a keen eye for detail. No professional transcription experience required.

What You'll Do
- Listen to and accurately transcribe audio recordings across a range of topics, speakers, and environments
- Handle diverse accents, speech speeds, and varying audio quality with patience and precision
- Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and style rules as outlined in project guidelines
- Flag unclear or ambiguous segments and note speaker changes where relevant
- Meet quality and turnaround targets for each assigned batch
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A strong, attentive listener who catches details others might miss
- Accurate and comfortable typing at a reliable speed
- Patient and methodical when working through difficult audio — background noise, overlapping speakers, or heavy accents don't throw you off
- Able to follow detailed written guidelines consistently
- Comfortable using online transcription tools and interfaces
- No prior transcription or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in transcription, captioning, or audio editing
- Familiarity with transcription software or style guides
- Exposure to a wide range of accents and spoken English dialects
