About the Role
The Audio Producer is responsible for defining and overseeing the audio direction of DigiPlus Philippines‑localized slot games. This role focuses on strategic audio leadership rather than full end‑to‑end asset production, ensuring that audio enhances player engagement while maintaining production efficiency and strong ROI.
Working closely with the Product team and external audio studios, the Audio Producer will determine where original music composition is required (e.g., main themes and bonus features) and where existing or transferable sound effects can be reused or adapted. The role ensures all audio assets are culturally aligned, performance‑driven, and meet DigiPlus quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Audio Direction & Planning
- Collaborate with Product and Creative teams to define the audio vision and direction for PH‑localized slot games.
- Identify the appropriate audio scope per game, distinguishing between:
- Required original composition (main theme, bonus/feature music)
- Reusable or adaptable sound effects from existing libraries
- Translate game themes, target player profiles, and commercial objectives into clear audio briefs.
Music Composition & Feature Support
- Compose or oversee the creation of key musical assets, primarily:
- Main theme music
- Bonus game and feature music
- Ensure music supports:
- Win anticipation and perceived payout value
- Feature differentiation and excitement
- Long play sessions without player fatigue
Audio Asset Management
- Curate and maintain a reusable sound effects library suitable across multiple slot titles.
- Adapt and fine‑tune existing audio assets to fit localized themes while maintaining consistency in tone and quality.
- Ensure proper audio balance, looping, and overall cohesion across games.
External Studio Coordination
- Work with external audio studios and vendors to:
- Review and evaluate submitted audio assets
- Provide clear, actionable creative and technical feedback
- Guide revisions to ensure alignment with the intended audio direction
- Act as the audio quality gatekeeper prior to implementation.
Localization & Cultural Alignment
- Ensure all audio assets reflect Filipino cultural sensibilities, emotional cues, and player preferences.
- Support PH‑themed and localized slot content, including culturally inspired or licensed titles.
- Avoid generic audio treatments and reinforce a sense of local pride and ownership.
Performance & Optimization
- Partner with Product and Analytics teams to assess audio impact on:
- Session length
- Feature engagement
- Player retention
- Refine audio direction and assets based on performance data and player feedback.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Audio Producer, Audio Director, or Senior Sound Designer.
- Experience in game audio, preferably within slots, mobile, or casual games.
- Strong understanding of game audio psychology, particularly reward feedback and anticipation.
- Experience working with and reviewing third‑party or external studio deliverables.
- Ability to balance creative quality with production efficiency and commercial goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real‑money gaming (RMG) or casino slot development.
- Familiarity with Philippines market player behavior and preferences.
- Experience with localized or culturally themed content.
- Exposure to licensed IP or celebrity‑based content.
- Understanding of mobile performance and optimization constraints.
