Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Australian Tax Advisory, Tax Consulting, or AU Tax Accountant experience
- Strong Australian Public Practice Accounting background is required
- Proven experience handling Australian clients with AUD5M-100M+ annual turnover and above
Responsibilities
- Prepare Australian tax returns and technical advisory reports
- Conduct tax research and draft advice on Australian tax, GST, and complex tax matters
- Support structuring, cross-border transactions, and indirect tax advisory work
- Assist with asset acquisitions, divestments, financing, and IPO tax matters
- Liaise with the ATO on reviews, audits, and dispute matters
- Apply legislative updates and tax changes to client engagements
- Contribute to technical tax knowledge-sharing and advisory updates
- Review and organize client records and supporting documentation
