Job Description

As an AUTax Assistant Manager, you'll lead and support Australian tax, accounting, and advisory engagements while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with stakeholders across global markets. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional client outcomes, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the continued success of one of Australia's most prestigious Big 4 accounting firms.

• Full-time | Day shift | Weekends off

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 4 years of Australian public practice accounting experience
• At least 2 years of team leadership experience
• Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with annual turnovers of AUD 5M-100M+
• CA or CA-equivalent qualification (completed or currently in progress)
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting legislation, and regulatory requirements

Your Daily Tasks

Australian Tax & Advisory

• Provide Australian tax and accounting advice and solutions across a diverse client portfolio, including SMEs, privately owned businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and small listed entities.
• Build technical expertise across Australian tax compliance, accounting, and business advisory services for middle-market clients.

Client Engagement & Leadership

• Lead and contribute across the full client engagement lifecycle.
• Communicate directly with clients and participate in presentations and meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes that support long-term client success.
