Australian Tax Accountant – BGL360 / SMSF

Remote | Full-time

We're looking for experienced Australian Tax Accountants with expertise across SMSF/BGL360 to join our growing team.

This role requires experience in Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) accounting and working with BGL360.

What you'll do:

• Prepare financial statements, BAS and IAS
• Prepare Australian tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies
• Support the preparation of SMSF accounts and compliance requirements
• Work within BGL360
• Manage payroll, payroll tax and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting and taxation requirements
• Respond to client accounting and taxation queries
• Manage multiple client deadlines accurately and efficiently

What we're looking for:

• At least two years of Australian accounting and taxation experience
• SMSF accounting experience is required along with experience with BGL360;
• Proficiency in Xero is required; MYOB experience is advantageous
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Confidence communicating with Australian clients and team members
