Job Description

As an AUTax Accountant, you'll deliver high-quality Australian accounting and taxation services by managing financial reporting, compliance, and advisory support for international clients. Your expertise will contribute to business-critical engagements while strengthening your technical capabilities within one of Australia's most prestigious Big 4 accounting environments.

• Full-time | Day shift | Weekends off

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 3 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience
• Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with AUD 5M-100M+ turnover
• Experience preparing Australian financial statements, tax workpapers, and income tax returns
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills

Your Daily Tasks

Australian Financial Reporting

• Prepare Australian financial statements across multiple entity structures for review.
• Process journals into client accounting systems.
• Prepare supporting workpapers to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.

Australian Tax Compliance

• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals and business entities for review.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with Australian compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the Australian Taxation Office on client-related matters.

Client Advisory Support

• Review and organize client documentation and financial information.
• Conduct research to support advisory engagements and prepare technical file notes.
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax outcomes for international clients.
