As an AUSenior Bookkeeper, you are more than just a numbers person-you are the architect of financial clarity. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can navigate the complexities of the Australian accounting landscape while providing the mentorship and leadership necessary to elevate our intermediate and junior talent.
Your Impact
Master of the Ledger: Lead the end-to-end bookkeeping lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of clients. Oversee AP/AR, complex payroll, and superannuation with surgical precision, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met without fail.
Guardian of Quality Assurance: Take charge of the review process for intermediate and junior bookkeepers. Apply a sharp eye for detail to ensure that every file is accurate and aligned with firm standards before it reaches the client.
Strategic Reporting & Compliance: Move beyond data entry to prepare high-level BAS/IAS and management reports. Act as a key liaison between Australian managers and clients, translating raw data into actionable financial insights.
Lead by Example: Set the standard for bookkeeping excellence within the firm. Leverage your deep experience in Australian SMEs to provide expert guidance on GST and payroll compliance, ensuring our global partners operate with absolute confidence.
What You Bring
The Experience:A minimum of 5+ years of bookkeeping experience specifically within an Australian accounting firm or SME environment.
Technical Mastery: Advanced skills in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks. Possess a profound understanding of GST, payroll compliance, and Australian reporting standards.
Leadership Prowess: Proven experience in supervising staff and reviewing client files. Excellent communication with a strong client-service orientation and a knack for troubleshooting complex accounting issues.
