Role Overview
- Ready to swap the classroom floor for quality frameworks, learner development, and meaningful assessment work
- As an AU RTO Early Childhood Assessor & Marker, you'll use your industry expertise to help shape the next generation of Early Childhood professionals across Australia. From reviewing learner submissions to providing clear, constructive feedback, your work will directly contribute to maintaining high education and compliance standards within the sector.
- This role is perfect for experienced Early Childhood professionals who love structure, accuracy, and documentation — and want to continue making a difference in the industry from a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess learner submissions and supporting evidence.
- Mark assessments accurately against competency standards.
- Provide constructive written feedback to learners.
- Apply Australian Early Childhood frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Maintain assessment quality and documentation standards.
- Use LMS platforms and online learning systems effectively.
- Ensure timely completion of assessment tasks.
- Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in assessment outcomes.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Strong written English and documentation skills.
- Experience reviewing, evaluating, or assessing work.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using LMS or online learning systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to learn Australian standards and frameworks.
- Open to additional training or upskilling if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Nice to Have:
- TAESS00019 or TAE40116 (or equivalent).
- CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
- CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Industry Experience:
- Experience assessing for an Australian RTO.
- Familiarity with: EYLF & NQF.
- Competency-based assessment models.
- Experience within Australian childcare or education environments.
- Australian-equivalent Working With Children Clearance (WWCC).
Additional Advantages:
- Previous compliance, QA, assessment, or training experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Australia for short-term industry immersion if required.
