Your Role
As an AU Rostering Coordinator Coordinator, you are responsible for:
- Roster Management: Develop and maintain work schedules and rosters for employees across different departments or shifts, taking into account business needs, employee availability, and labor regulations.
- Staffing Optimization: Analyze staffing requirements and align schedules to optimize resource allocation, ensuring adequate coverage while minimizing overtime and labor costs.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with department supervisors, team leaders, and employees to communicate work schedules, resolve scheduling conflicts, and address any staffing concerns or issues.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure rostering practices comply with relevant labor laws, employment agreements, and organizational policies, including managing breaks, rest periods, and maximum hours of work.
- Time and Attendance Management: Monitor and maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave requests, and other time-related data, using appropriate systems or software.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze rostering data to identify trends, evaluate efficiency, and provide insights for decision-making, including adjustments to staffing levels or scheduling processes.
- Systems and Tools Utilization: Utilize rostering software, time and attendance systems, or other relevant tools to manage and track employee schedules, availability, and related data.
- Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries regarding work schedules, time-off requests, and rostering policies, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve rostering processes, automation, and efficiency, making recommendations for system enhancements or process changes.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials or guidelines for supervisors and employees on rostering processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At Least 1 to 2 years experience in rostering/bookings/scheduling management and customer service
- Experience in email management, phone calls, file/database management and data entry
- Proficient in using MS Office and MS Outlook
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is also a team player.
- Ability to adapt in any culture/environment of the client.
Nice to have:
- Experience in NDIS/ Healthcare setting would be desirable but not required.
- Experience in using any cloud based rostering software is a plus.
