As an AU Junior Bookkeeper, you are the engine of financial accuracy for our Australian partners. This role is perfectly suited for a detail-oriented professional who has already gained practical experience within the Australian accounting landscape and is ready to solidify their expertise. You won't just be entering data; you'll be mastering the end-to-end bookkeeping lifecycle, ensuring that every transaction is a building block for a successful business.
Your Impact
Master of the Daily Ledger: Take charge of accounts payable and receivable processing with high precision. Perform critical bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring that every cent is accounted for and that financial records remain pristine.
Architect of Accurate Workpapers: Build the foundation for high-level reporting by preparing and maintaining detailed workpapers. Under the guidance of senior accountants, assist in the preparation of BAS and IAS, ensuring that compliance is never an afterthought.
Payroll & Compliance Support: Step into the technical world of Australian payroll processing. Help ensure that employee entitlements and pay cycles are handled in strict accordance with Australian requirements, maintaining workforce trust and security.
Strategic Team Collaborator: Work as a vital part of a wider global team to meet strict client deadlines. Maintain timely and accurate data entry into systems like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks to ensure the firm delivers world-class service to its partners.
What You Bring
The Experience:Minimum 1-2 years of mandatory bookkeeping experience within an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm.
The Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is considered a strong advantage.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online, combined with a solid understanding of basic Australian bookkeeping standards and compliance requirements.
The Mindset: A reliable professional with an uncompromising eye for detail. You can manage multiple client tasks efficiently, follow established processes to the letter, and communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
