As an AU Insolvency Analyst, you'll contribute to complex Australian insolvency and financial recovery engagements within an award-winning professional services environment, conducting investigations, analyzing financial positions, preparing ASIC and creditor reports, and supporting asset realization. Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce (major in Accounting), or Law with an interest in insolvency
- 1-2 years of experience in insolvency and financial recovery, including insolvency risk assessment and asset realization strategies
- Experience liaising with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
Preferred
- CPA or equivalent professional certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare receipt authorities, payment authorities, day-one investigation letters, statutory forms, and letters of demand
- Conduct investigations for assigned insolvency engagements
- Support trade-on operations for businesses under administration
- Perform stocktakes of company goods and assets
- Prepare and submit statutory reports to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)
- Prepare statutory reports for creditors and other stakeholders
- Draft correspondence and serve as the primary point of contact for creditors, employees, directors, and other stakeholders
- Support the realization of assets for companies and individuals
- Analyze company financial statements and financial positions
