Your Role
As an AU Digital Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for:
- Support the delivery of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, and web, for MemberBoat and client organisations.
- Assist with planning and implementing marketing campaigns, including scheduling and publishing content across social media channels.
- Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and automated communication journeys.
- Prepare campaign assets and coordinate content across platforms, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Support with marketing copy for emails (with AI-assisted tools), social media posts, landing pages, and promotional content.
- Create graphics and visual content for digital channels using tools such as Canva or similar software programs.
- Assist with blog posts, thought leadership content, and repurposing existing content across different formats and channels.
- Promote programs, events, and webinars for professional association clients.
- Support acquisition and engagement campaigns, including onboarding email journeys.
- Track basic engagement metrics
- Update website content when required and maintain marketing databases and contact lists.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing
- Experience supporting and executing digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, and web.
- Email marketing and campaign management experience, including familiarity with platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Campaign Monitor.
- Social media content scheduling, channel management, and community engagement experience. LinkedIn experience is required.
- Graphic design or visual content creation experience using tools such as Canva or similar.
- Familiarity with website content management systems such as WordPress.
- Exposure to marketing analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience working with membership organisations or directly with association communities is highly regarded but not essential.
