Client is looking for a Loan & Mortgage Support Specialist with solid experience in Australian Commercial Loans / Commercial Mortgages on the broker side (non-lender/bank) to support our real estate and lending client.
This role focuses on assisting business clients with commercial property loans, equipment finance, and secured/unsecured business lending. You will handle end-to-end loan processing from submission to settlement within a brokerage environment, including documentation review, lender coordination, and client communication.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AU broker-side commercial lending processes and understands LVR requirements, deal structuring, requirements, and compliance standards within the AU market.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide end-to-end support for commercial loan and mortgage applications (broker side), from inquiry, submission, and processing to settlement
- Manage loan submissions, lender follow-ups, and conditional approvals to ensure timely progression of deals
- Liaise with Australian lenders, brokers, and financial institutions to ensure timely processing
- Support pre-approvals, refinancing, and post-settlement matters for commercial lending
- Handle inquiries related to interest rates, repayment terms, LVR, and loan conditions
- Maintain accurate tracking of applications and prepare progress reports
- Ensure compliance with Australian commercial lending regulations and policies
- Stay updated on Australian commercial property lending guidelines and market trends
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline loan workflows
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in AU loan processing on the BROKER side (non-negotiable)
- Strong background in Commercial Loans / Commercial Mortgages (Australia)
- Proven experience in end-to-end loan processing (submission to settlement) within a brokerage environment
- Solid understanding of commercial lending structures (secured/unsecured, business property, equipment finance, 60–80% LVR, requirements, etc.)
- Experience liaising with Australian lenders and mortgage brokers
- Familiarity with loan origination systems (ApplyOnline, Mercury, Flex, NextGen, or similar) is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills suitable for Australian clients
- Strong attention to detail and document review skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple applications simultaneously
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting Australian commercial real estate or mortgage brokerage firms
- Knowledge of business lending, commercial property acquisition, and refinancing
- Background in financial analysis or credit assessment
