About the Job

We're looking for experienced Accounting and Bookkeeping professionals to join a growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting services to our ANZ clients. You'll handle daily financial operations including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and monthly financial reporting.

You'll play an important role in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all transactions, while supporting our client managers to deliver high-quality accounting services. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, experience using Xero for NZ and/or AU clients, and a passion for delivering excellent client service in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
• Perform month end reports and regular bank reconciliations and maintain financial records in Xero and Dext
• Prepare creditor payment runs and process internal business expense claims, credit cards, and fuel cards
• Reconcile creditor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
• Support the Finance team in ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures
• Assist with monthly accounts preparation, reporting, and compliance requirements
• Maintain and update automatic payments and filing of creditor invoices
• Perform other ad hoc finance and administrative tasks to support the team

Requirements and Qualifications:

Here's what you'll bring to the role:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Hands On / actual work experience with XERO or XPM is a MUST
• At least 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally supporting New Zealand or Australian SMEs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Hands-on experience using Receipt Bank (Dext) and Hubdoc
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability to work effectively with global or offshore clients
