Job Description

The ATL Specialist supports the ATL Lead in the planning, execution, and optimization of above-the-line (ATL) campaigns across TV, radio, print, and OOH. This is a mid-level role requiring solid agency experience, strong execution skills, and working knowledge of ATL buying and coordination. The ATL Specialist serves as a key operational partner to the ATL Lead, ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ATL Lead in developing and executing ATL media plans across TV, radio, print, and OOH
  • Prepare detailed media schedules, flowcharts, and budget trackers
  • Coordinate closely with media vendors, broadcasters, publishers, and OOH partners on placements and materials
  • Manage day-to-day campaign execution, spot placements, and material deadlines
  • Assist in rate checks, added-value assessments, and negotiation support
  • Track campaign performance and prepare post-buy and reconciliation reports
  • Ensure accuracy of media plans, schedules, and billing documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams (account, creative, integrated, digital) for campaign alignment
  • Flag risks, issues, and optimization opportunities to the ATL Lead
  • Support pitch preparation and ATL sections of proposals when needed

Qualifications

Education

o  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Management, or a related field

Experience

o  3–5 years of ATL media planning and buying experience

o  Strong agency background is required

o  Hands-on experience executing ATL campaigns across TV, radio, print, and OOH

o  Experience working closely with senior planners or ATL Leads

Skills & Competencies

o  Solid understanding of ATL media planning and buying processes

o  Working knowledge of ATL metrics such as GRPs, reach, frequency, TRPs, and cost efficiencies

o  Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for tracking budgets and performance

o  Proficient in PowerPoint / Google Slides for internal and client decks

o  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

o  Clear communication and coordination abilities

Vendor & Execution Exposure

o  Experience coordinating with ATL media vendors and partners

o  Familiarity with rate cards, placements, and material specifications

o  Able to support negotiations and vendor discussions led by the ATL Lead

o  Ensures compliance with timelines, specs, and quality standards
