About the Role/Project

We are seeking an Associate Consultant who is willing to be trained on Veeva Vault. The initial focus will be functional support for Veeva applications, partnering with end users and stakeholders to resolve issues and support day-to-day operations. Over time, the goal is to develop capability to support configuration activities and gradually take on greater responsibility for system improvements and change execution in line with Agile practices and change management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

After successfully completing the training, the Associate Consultant will progressively take on the tasks outlined below, starting with functional support for Veeva applications in collaboration with end users and stakeholders. Over time, responsibilities may expand to include configuration support and increased involvement in system improvements and change execution, aligned with Agile and change management practices.

Support customers Veeva vault:

  • Monitor ITSM solutions
  • Document incidents/requests in the customer ITSM
  • Handle incidents and service requests according to defined L1/L2/L3 as applicable
  • Communicate with end users for incident resolution (L1/L2) and service requests
  • Create Knowledge Base articles
  • Identify recurring incidents and create problem tickets
  • Provide workarounds when needed
  • Coordinate and follow up with 3rd parties as required

Veeva Vault operational support:

  • Monitor logs
  • Manage daily health checks
  • Refresh environments and manage data loads
  • Assist with creation of reports and dashboards
  • Support Data Quality and Data Governance

Backlog and release support using Agile practices:

  • Ensure service requests are updated in backlog management
  • Support customers in defining releases according to the product roadmap
  • Support sandbox changes based on business needs
  • Support documentation for change requests
  • Develop relevant test cases
  • Support validation track documentation

Veeva releases (specific RIA-related activities):

  • Create Risk Impact Assessments including technical/functional impact identification
  • Present impact to the customer and participate in the impact dialogue
  • Create documentation required for change control
  • Create and execute test cases
  • Ensure backlog management is updated

Veeva Vault Configuration, Deployments & Validation Support:

  • Assist with configuration-related tasks in the client's Veeva Vault to meet agreed business requirements (e.g., setup/changes driven by user stories, change requests, or release scope).
  • Support creation of configuration packages and deploy/promote changes using the client's established release and promotion processes.
  • Support documentation for configuration changes and align activities with the client's QMS/validation expectations (e.g., prepare materials for validation track as required).
  • Contribute to testing readiness by developing/assisting with relevant test cases and validating configuration outcomes in the appropriate environments.
  • Coordinate dialogues with IT/Business/QA as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience as a technical consultant in at least one of the following:
  • Data warehouse or data analytics
  • Python, or Java
  • Content Management Systems
  • Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Cloud Technologies

  • Strong communication skills; able to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and comfort with documentation
  • Willingness to learn and ramp up quickly on Veeva and assigned business domains

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Service Now, Jira, or any ITSM
  • Understanding of ITIL, GxP, Agile practices
  • Preferably experience in the life sciences industry
  • Demonstrated capability in at least one domain: Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, or Safety

Additional Expectations:

  • Open to work across APAC, EU, and US time zones based on business needs, including EST/PST coverage where required.
  • Onsite work once per week, and as needed.
