Associate Trainer
Purpose of the role
The Trainer has the required/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline as well as knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.
Works autonomously and arranges suitable training solutions for all user levels, actively searching and creatively implementing effective methods to educate, enhance and maximize customer performance using Amadeus products.
The Trainer will select, sequence and structure the training sessions to achieve training objectives.
Trainer can also design, deliver and administrate standard and customized training courses on the use of Amadeus products and Solutions, using various channels and media to deliver in the most efficient and qualitive way, and, with increasing seniority, conduct specialized courses.
The Trainer will provide high quality educational services to customers at the agreed level of expectations in order to secure the highest possible customer retention and loyalty, as well as the Amadeus commercial and strategic goals.
As Coordinator, the Trainer also organizes the scheduled of Amadeus Product Trainings (standard and customized) in Amadeus Learning Universe for the APAC region. The position is responsible in organizing the schedule of training events, posting and updating the course shells in ALU and mediating the conversations between Commercial/Requestor and Learning Delivery in the APAC region.
In This Role You'll
Customers First
- Responsible for incorporating customer requirements into facilitated courses through needs analysis to determine the extent to which current learning offerings meet business needs both Amadeus and our customers; curate facilitated learning offerings to be customized based on segmented customer approach, and specific to address role-based skill gaps.
- Provide high quality training to internal and external customers according to course content, audience and business needs; plus create training content based after analyzing customer's knowledge and offer best learning solution (in cooperation with the coordinator, manager and requestor.)
- Ensure training materials and exercises are well prepared and updated for each course delivery.
- Act as an Amadeus ambassador in every interaction with colleagues and internal customers.

- Show awareness and engagement in Learning Services Training delivery initiatives and participate in various marketing communication channels - both internal and external.

- Collaborate with all other team members and participate to any team meetings or activities.
- Collaborate with Learning Content and Knowledge (LCK) team and support them defining Amadeus training solutions.
Innovation & Modernization of Training Delivery
- Contribute to the adoption of Amadeus products through technical, digital and multi-media strategies which are relevant to each of our internal and external customers.
- Contribute to the building of a learning platform to educate large numbers of internal staff, and customers, creating a global ecosystem of Amadeus product expert users.
- Ensure creative and innovative ways to deliver training content and drive customer engagement - i.e., via hands-on experiential learning, video, and social media.
- Support in the implementation of learning modernization trends and techniques within training delivery, in full alignment with the business objectives and priorities of the global learning organization.
Efficiency & Budget
- Drive support call deflection by providing customer and trainer feedback to Learning Design.
- Follow the corporate Travel Policy and suggest the best training solution depending on the request and the business case.

About The Ideal Candidate
- Vocational degree in Tourism, or University degree in Education, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years working in travel industry and 1+ year experience in training delivery.
- Set instructional objectives and design training sessions and courses.
- Select, sequence and structure the training sessions to achieve training objectives.
- Delivery training courses to internal and external customers, and with increasing seniority, conduct dedicated or customized courses.
- Manage pre and post course management activities.
- Work autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, take standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
- Work with Learning Content Managers in the update of Training documentation.
- Maintain internal and external relationships with departments responsible for defining Amadeus products and customers in order to maintain and update the existing instructional resources.
- Use the established evaluation process to ensure the continuing relevance of training to business needs.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing at an advanced level.
- Ability to manage workshops or meetings efficiently.
- Ability to deliver advanced presentation.
- Ability to deliver virtual and face-to-face sessions.
- Excellent communication skills.
