Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for customer satisfaction, building customer relationships, and sellingthe QIAGENservices in the assigned region.
- Proactively sell instrument service contracts for QIAGEN installed instruments to end customers by using the installed base data.
- Partner with other QIAGEN sales representatives to sell service agreements to key customers.
- Contact customers primarily viathe telephoneor electronic channels.
- Utilize the Customer relationship database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness and aid sales.
- Utilize pre-call planning for increased effectiveness, work along an action plan to implement company strategy and marketing activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably with a scientific backgroundw/ Sales experience
- Scientific background in Molecular Biology or disciplines and/or practical laboratory
- experience or experience with instrument service preferred.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
- Previousservice contractsselling experiencepreferred (especially if done by phone/electronic communication)
- Language skills: English native speaker or excellent business fluent.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Customer andservice-orientation.
- Willing to work on the night shift (9pm-6am, 10pm-7am)
