About the Role

Are you passionate about applying psychological research to drive meaningful social impact We are seeking an Associate Psychologist to support programme development, implementation science initiatives, and evidence-informed practice improvements within the social service sector.

This role is ideal for Psychology graduates with strong analytical skills who are interested in research, data analysis, and programme evaluation while contributing to initiatives that strengthen professional practices and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and evidence syntheses to support programme development and evaluation initiatives.

  • Collect, analyse, and report data to inform programme improvements and implementation efforts.

  • Set up and manage datasets of varying complexity and develop dashboards for research and operational insights.

  • Support the design and execution of implementation and evaluation projects, including developing surveys and interview guides.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify innovative practices and technological solutions to enhance professional practice and work processes.

  • Prepare reports, presentation materials, and knowledge-sharing resources for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology or a related Social Science discipline.

  • Good understanding of data management practices and basic statistical analyses.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree with at least Second-Class Honours or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with implementation science concepts.

  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Knowledge of data analysis software such as SPSS, R, or STATA.

  • Familiarity with AI-related tools.

  • Experience in digital communications or design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Piktochart, or video editing software.

  • Prior research experience through academic projects, internships, or employment.
