RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as subject matter expert on products, providing in-depth research, technical insights, and analysis to support product decisions.
- Sourcing new technology information from a variety of credible industry channels and vendors with minimal supervision.
- Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with product knowledge and positioning.
- Creating and maintaining detailed product documentation, technical datasheets, FAQs, and sales enablement tools.
- Assisting in defining product roadmaps and supporting go-to-market strategies by providing technical insights and competitive analysis.
- Continuously evaluating product performance metrics and customer feedback to recommend enhancements or adjustments.
- Creating educational materials and leading knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the sales team's understanding of technical concepts and product features.
- Conducting in-depth research and analysis across various product categories to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Staying current with emerging technologies and industry standards to proactive identify opportunities for innovation and product development.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology or any related field.
- Proven experience working with hardware or technology-focused products, such as in adapters, audio equipment, and related technologies.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Thunderbolt, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and products such as docking stations, network switches, and similar hardware.
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to research and track technological developments, evaluate relevant data, and convert complex information into well-structured reports and guidance.
Experience and Certifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in product management, technical analysis, or related role.
Technical or specific skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating educational materials, product documentation, training content, or sales enablement resources.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, capable of learning quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and a basic understanding of product lifecycle management or project coordination tools, i.e., JIRA, Asana, etc.
