Job Summary
The Associate Product Manager – Ethical supports the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies for assigned ethical pharmaceutical products. The role works closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams to drive product awareness, achieve business objectives, and ensure marketing activities are aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Brand Management
- Assist in developing and implementing brand strategies and marketing plans for assigned products.
- Monitor product performance, sales trends, market share, and competitive activities.
- Identify market opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve product growth.
- Support product launches, relaunches, and lifecycle management activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned products, therapeutic areas, and competitors.
2. Marketing Campaigns & Activities
- Develop and coordinate promotional materials and marketing campaigns for healthcare professionals.
- Assist in organizing product presentations, medical meetings, conferences, symposia, and other promotional activities.
- Work with the Sales Team to provide appropriate product information, promotional tools, and campaign support.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and recommend improvements.
3. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct market research and gather insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotional strategies, and market developments.
- Prepare reports and presentations based on market and product performance data.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Medical, Regulatory, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives.
- Work closely with Medical and Regulatory teams to ensure promotional materials and activities comply with applicable requirements.
- Support field force training and product knowledge initiatives.
5. Budget & Project Management
- Assist in preparing and monitoring the marketing budget for assigned products.
- Track expenses and ensure activities are implemented within approved budgets.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for assigned marketing projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, product management, sales, or a related healthcare industry role.
- Experience in ethical pharmaceutical products is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
