The main responsibilities of a ASSOCIATE LEGAL COUNSEL include:
Develop, review, and continuously improve internal policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures to support KMC's shared services and outsourcing operations, ensuring alignment with Philippine laws, global best practices, and client contractual requirements.
Provide practical, businessoriented legal advice to senior leadership and crossfunctional teams (HR, Operations, Sales, Finance) on corporate, commercial, employment, data privacy, and regulatory matters relevant to KMC's service delivery model.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks arising from business initiatives, client engagements, and operational changes; draft, review, and negotiate key legal documents such as service agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and internal memoranda; and present clear, actionable recommendations to management.
Support or represent KMC in commercial discussions and negotiations with clients, partners, and vendors, balancing legal risk management with commercial objectives in a highgrowth, clientcentric environment.
Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations (including labor, corporate, data privacy, and outsourcingrelated regulations); monitor regulatory developments impacting the business; and implement effective legal risk management strategies to support sustainable growth.
