Job Description

For any particular business, the patronage of consumers is the key determinant of success or failure. In this module student will examine the process by which buying decisions are made in consumer markets. They will learn about the various issues and concepts relating to consumer research and explore and critically appraise these in terms of their intellectual validity and their managerial significance.

The aim of this module is to provide student with the opportunity to develop a theoretical understanding of consumer behaviour in conjunction with the skills to apply this knowledge to practical marketing situations. They will also be introduced to the tools to develop your critical reading and writing skills, and thereby enhance your capacity for analysis and interpretation of core theoretical concepts and their significance for marketing practice.

Job Requirement

  • A PHD or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university
  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level 
  • 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with various referencing styles, especially the Harvard Stirling University Referencing style
