Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct legal research and develop legal strategies.
- Handle litigation and appear before courts, regulatory agencies, and quasi-judicial bodies.
- Represent clients during hearings, meetings, and conferences.
- Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues affecting the energy industry.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications.
- Monitor developments in laws, regulations, and jurisprudence relevant to the energy sector.
Qualifications
- Member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
- At least two (2) years of legal experience in the Philippine energy sector, including experience with energy regulatory matters, project development, or transactions
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Experience in litigation, corporate, commercial, or regulatory practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- High ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment
