The position is responsible for providing support and assistance to the AP business units on regulatory-legal matters including, among others, ensuring proper filing of ERC applications and other regulatory requirements, conduct of drafting/review of contracts, regulations, and other documents, with the goal of minimizing financial losses, maximizing revenue potential, and protecting the AP business units overall interests in accordance with company objectives, policies, and guidelines.
The position is responsible for the delivery and management of legal and regulatory services needed for AP BUs projects, transactions and businesses. In his/her role, the Senior Associate General Counsel may need to oversee, monitor and review the output of an Associate General Counsel.
