As an Associate Director, duties & responsibilities will include:
Managing multiple and concurrent complex projects, possibly with the contribution of cross-divisional/group specialists.
Executing projects to a level that meets the firms quality standards and takes accountability for managing scope and delivering timely and quality deliverables through strong collaboration.
Understanding the commercial and contractual aspects of an engagement including managing fee-proposals, overruns and work above budget.
Potentially leading a practice management area within the service line, i.e. People, Financial Management or a Market Segment.
Simplifying highly complex business situations and strategies to identify key issues and priorities.
Negotiating with high levels of discretion with internal or external parties such as clients, government bodies and other organizations.
Driving pragmatic and innovative solutions which strengthen business performance and differentiates KPMG from our competition.
Taking action to remain up to date with market knowledge, technical skills and innovative practices
To fulfil this role, the applicant will have the following attributes:
Demonstrated exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards.
Minimum 5 years experience working in a similar tax consulting or advisory environment.
CA or CTA equivalent qualified.
Have a relevant tertiary or post-grad qualification.
Able to digest, distil and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms.
Display initiative and be excited to help create innovative solutions in a changing world of service delivery.
A client centric approach and ability to understand your clients business.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills will be key as the applicant develops relationships with key client stakeholders.
