Job Description

Lead the data science team in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to improve the company's business performance
Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives
Identify opportunities to leverage data to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and drive innovation
Foster a data-driven culture by providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
Collaborate with business units to identify data-driven solutions to complex problems
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data science and machine learning
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Adhere to company policy and procedures
Achieve or exceed targets and other key objectives assigned by your Immediate Supervisor
Participate in ongoing training and development programs
Accept other associated responsibilities and projects as the need arises

Competencies for the Job

Requirements

Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field
Proven track record as a Chief Data Officer or in a similar leadership role
5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
Deep understanding of data management, data governance, data analytics, and data engineering
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of data warehousing, data mining, machine learning, and big data technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Strong leadership and organizational skills to build and lead high-performing teams
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
