Associate - Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, Investment Banking

Position Description

The Associate Corporate Finance and Capital Markets is responsible for preparing materials for origination efforts as well as executing live transactions. These transactions would include deals in the ECM or M&A space such as IPOs, private placements, rights issues, private capital fundraising, take-privates, etc.

Key activities include presenting findings of research and analysis, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, assisting with administrative duties (e.g. roadshows, printing reports etc.), as well as preparing documentation relating to various internal and external processes

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity and fact checks on all work undertaken
• Maintain credentials and databases
• Support the broader team as required
• Train and mentor analysts and interns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business or any relevant discipline
• Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, preferably in SE Asia
• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to devise creative solutions to problems
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
• A diligent, responsible person who is eager to learn
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• High degree of integrity
• Self-motivated and able to operate independently, drawing from previous transaction experience to hit the ground running
• Ability to take the initiative
