Position: Associate Corporate Banking Officer
Office Location: UnionBank Plaza - Ortigas, Pasig City
Job Summary: The Associate Corporate Banking Officer supports Relationship Managers by handling loan operations, documentation, client communication, and account servicing to ensure smooth and timely execution of banking transactions. The role also manages CMS and partner bank coordination, prepares monitoring and reporting requirements, and provides administrative and operational support to maintain excellent customer service and internal process efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Relationship Manager in servicing and maintenance of existing and new accounts
- Participates in acquisition of new accounts by setting appointments with contracts of target accounts
- Attends to daily transaction of clients (Placements, loans, tax payments, One Hub transactions, account opening, among others)
- Helps in following up with client's documents required for the complete documentation of clients credit facilities & account opening
- Helps resolve service issues with clients. Coordinates with proper units to resolve service issues with speed and accuracy
- Coordinates with branches, operations, and other internal units of the banks regarding client requests, issues, and concerns
- Prepares reports needed by the Group Head and Account Officer
- Ensures proper tagging of accounts through diligent monitoring and review of accounts handled by group
- Ensures aggrupation of accounts handled by the Group for ease of monitoring of account balances and movements
- Assists the Account Officers in the preparation of Account Profitability Report initially for major accounts
- Capable in doing research work particularly on industries tapped in the goal of generating deposits
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Group Head/ Account Officers from time to time
- Builds and cleans up database of accounts and account contacts for the newly formed CBG 6.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with preferred certifications in banking operations, compliance, or corporate finance.
- Experience in corporate or commercial banking operations, familiarity with CMS platforms and loan documentation, and advanced proficiency in data management, reporting tools, and client service processes.
Required Skills: Strong analytical and organizational abilities, effective communication and stakeholder coordination, proficiency in banking systems and documentation management, and a high level of accuracy, customer service orientation, and adaptability.
