JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Assists in the application of accounting, financial, economic and data analysis expertise to address clients critical issues.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Engagement Management
- Participate and lead in engagement team planning meeting, and prepare minutes of the meeting as applicable.
- Gather data from interviews with client personnel or from other sources such as minutes of meetings and other specific engagement procedures.
- Prepare and sign off working papers that document observations and evidence gathered in the course of performing engagement procedures.
- Check the accuracy of engagement schedules and other documents prepared by client personnel.
- Perform other specific engagement procedures assigned by the Engagement Lead Consultant or Managing Consultant.
- Ensure all procedures in the work programs are completely and appropriately performed and documented.
- Respond promptly to the review notes and follow-ups of the Lead Consultant, Managing Consultant or Partner and document review notes disposal appropriately in the working papers.
- Exercise professional skepticism and diligence in carrying out and completing assigned tasks
- Inform promptly the Engagement Lead Consultant about problems and engagement issues encountered
- Take the initiative to do research and discuss with the Engagement Lead Consultant or Managing Consultant the possible resolution to any engagement issue identified during the course of the audit
- File evidence relevant to the engagement in an engagement binder
- Complete all workpapers (related Audit Methodology or Tool files and engagement binders) before the release of the report
- Submit supporting workpapers (related voyager files and engagement binders) during the review process
Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain clear coordination and good working relationship with client personnel, superiors, teammates, and other associate within and outside the firm at all times
- Maintain a can-do and positive attitude at all times in accepting assignments and working with other P&A personnel
Administrative Functions and Others
- Provide assistance to higher-level personnel in the preparation of proposals and in the conduct of other projects
- Organize working paper files prior to review by higher-level personnel or before turning over to Central Files
- Complete and submit accurate time reports in a timely manner
- Comply with the policies, procedures, and established, unwritten practices of the firm and the division
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Information Technology or any other related courses
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are preferred
- Outstanding academic and leadership credentials
- Fresh CPA board exam passers are encouraged to apply

- Advanced communication, interpersonal skills along with good or developing negotiation skills
- Ability to self-prioritize tasks, deadline and detail sensitive
- Willingness to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time
- Positive and energetic attitude and motivation to work in a fast-paced environment
- Drive to work independently while being an effective team member
- Proactive in asking clarifying questions
- Solid understanding and ability to apply risk and control concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other spreadsheet application
