ABOUT THE ROLE
You will lead a portfolio of Client businesses and the team behind them—owning senior Client relationships, shaping the work, protecting commercial health, and creating growth. This is a leadership role for someone who can move confidently between business conversations, campaign decisions, team development, and Agency economics. You will be expected to be more than a senior point of contact: you should be a trusted Client partner, a strong advocate for great work, and a leader who builds a high-performing Accounts team with strong ownership and decision-making capability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own senior Client relationships and Client satisfaction across the accounts in your unit, becoming a trusted business partner.
- Drive organic growth and retention by identifying where the agency can solve more of the Client's business and marketing needs, and converting those opportunities into meaningful scope.
- Contribute to new business by leading or playing a senior role in pitches, proposals, and opportunities that can expand the Agency's portfolio.
- Run the unit with commercial discipline: manage scope, resourcing, man-hours, revenue, and margin while protecting both Client value and Agency sustainability.
- Set the standard for service quality—from the strength of the brief and strategic counsel to proactivity, communication, and how effectively the team champions creative work.
- Ensure the unit delivers reliably, with healthy lead times, strong reporting discipline, clear ownership, and minimal senior intervention.
- Lead, coach, and develop Account Directors, Senior Account Managers, and Account Managers, creating clear growth paths and stronger capability across the team.
- Build the next version of Client servicing by bringing stronger use of data, AI, automation, commerce, and emerging channels into the way the unit works and advises Clients.
