Tierra Homeres and Partners, CPAs is looking for motivated, detail-oriented, and growth-driven accounting professionals to join our expanding audit team.

We serve schools, religious organizations, non-stock, non-profit institutions, and commercial enterprises. Our work provides opportunities to develop technical expertise, professional judgment, and practical experience across different types of organizations.

We are hiring for two positions:

1. Junior Associate Auditor

Ideal for fresh graduates and early-career accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules
- Perform vouching, tracing, reconciliations, and basic analytical procedures
- Examine accounting records and supporting documents
- Assist in financial statement preparation and note disclosures
- Coordinate audit requirements with clients under supervision
- Learn and apply audit methodologies, accounting standards, and digital audit tools

Qualifications:

- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- CPA license is an advantage
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles
- Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn
- Receptive to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement

2. Experienced Associate Auditor

Ideal for auditors with practical experience who are ready for greater ownership and professional growth.

Take the next step in your audit career by handling more complex audit assignments, strengthening your professional judgment, and developing greater independence in engagement execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently execute assigned audit procedures under supervisory review
- Prepare comprehensive audit working papers and financial statement schedules
- Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and account reconciliations
- Identify accounting discrepancies, audit issues, and internal control weaknesses
- Assist in preparing financial statements and evaluating note disclosures
- Coordinate directly with clients regarding assigned audit requirements
- Monitor the progress and completion of assigned audit tasks
- Apply relevant accounting and auditing standards with appropriate professional skepticism

Qualifications:

- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- CPA license is preferred
- Preferably 1–3 years of relevant external audit experience
- Working knowledge of Philippine Standards on Auditing and applicable financial reporting standards
- Experience in audit documentation and financial statement preparation
- Able to execute assigned work with minimal supervision while remaining receptive to review
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrates accountability, professional judgment, and attention to detail
