  • Present audit observations, control gaps, and recommendations to business unit and regional stakeholders, including manager- and director-level stakeholders, and obtain appropriate agreement on findings and actions.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and well-organized audit reports in accordance with established audit methodology.
  • Utilize data analytics and visualization techniques, where appropriate, to strengthen audit testing, identify trends or exceptions, and improve audit effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support the development of other audit team members through workpaper review, knowledge sharing, coaching, and guidance as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Line Manager that are aligned with business requirements and the incumbent's skills and development objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of six (6) years of cumulative relevant experience, with a strong foundation in internal or external audit and/or closely related assurance work such as SOX, risk, or compliance within the financial services industry. Candidates should demonstrate sufficient hands-on audit experience to independently execute audit work.
  • Demonstrated experience executing end-to-end audits, including audit planning, risk assessment, controls testing, issue identification, root cause analysis, workpaper documentation, stakeholder discussions, and audit reporting.

  • Experience with SOX, financial, operational, regulatory, or other key-risk audits. Experience auditing AP/AR, P2P, O2C, financial reporting, or comparable finance processes is highly relevant.
  • Experience within financial services, preferably insurance, banking, wealth and asset management, or another regulated financial institution.
