Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manpower Management
- Rationalize: Define HC standards by function based on volume and productivity baselines determine long-term vs. seasonal nFTE mix track overall WH productivity vs. speed metrics (CFR, IB OLA, Return)
- Plan: Prepare site HC plan vs. volume forecast (BAU vs. campaign planning) align with OPEX / Manpower on requirements
- Request: Submit manpower requests to vendors per agreed COT raise OT requests for approval ensure on-time and accurate requests aligned with each function's needs
- Monitor: Track daily attendance, actual HC allocation to functions, planned productivity/CFR vs. actual, and Fill Rate % record in WMS minimize vendor disputes due to incorrect attendance records
- Record: Maintain activity tagging by function and OT hours support OPEX / Manpower in vendor attendance reconciliation
Consumables Management
- Rationalize: Define usage assumptions for planning track actual usage rate maintain safety stock quantity (safe DOC) per site
- Plan: Forecast demand from ADO by function align procurement cycle with VMP
- Request: Generate PR per site on schedule ensure request accuracy and lead time compliance
- Monitor: Track delivery and consumption vs. forecast maintain zero stock-out days monitor Consumable CPI vs. speed metrics and space occupied vs. planned
- Record: Receive and distribute consumables to functions maintain accurate on-hand inventory records
Equipment Management
- Rationalize: Assess equipment needs vs. utilisation identify capex and replacement requirements track asset utilisation rate
- Plan: Prepare capex and replacement plan per site align with VMP (non-IT equipment) and Corporate IT (IT equipment)
- Request: Submit PR for non-IT equipment to VMP submit IT equipment requests to Corporate IT ensure on-time and accurate requests
- Monitor: Track assets, assignments, and maintenance schedules report operation disruption / downtime monitor G&A CPI (breakdown to Asset & Equipment)
- Record: Maintain assign in/out log keep asset register accurate coordinate maintenance records
WHM Coverage and Operational Continuity
- Cover the Warehouse Manager during absences - assume full floor management responsibilities across all warehouse functions
- Deputize on-floor execution as needed to ensure operational continuity across shifts and during peak periods
- Serve as the succession candidate for the WHM role maintain working knowledge of all warehouse functions
Stakeholder Interface
- Serve as the single named onsite point of contact for OPEX / Manpower, VMP, Corporate IT, and Expansion for all resource-related matters at the site
- Escalate resource constraints, procurement delays, or supply gaps to the relevant HQ function with timely and accurate data
- Participate in regular site reviews and provide clean data to support network-level planning at HQ
Requirements:
Educational Background & Certifications Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience Requirement:
At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or resource management. Experience in manpower coordination, procurement, or inventory management is a strong advantage. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
. Strong operational understanding of warehouse resource management - manpower planning, consumables, and equipment
. Familiar with manpower agency coordination, vendor liaison, and procurement request workflows
. Analytical - able to track performance vs. targets across multiple resource pillars simultaneously
. Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel WMS or ERP system experience is an advantage
. Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and documentation discipline
. Effective communicator - able to interface clearly with both onsite teams and HQ functions
. High ownership mindset - takes full accountability for resource availability, data accuracy, and WH continuity
. Able to operate under shifting priorities, particularly during peak volume periods or WHM absences
