Assistant Vice President

Financial Reporting & Control

• Lead the preparation, review, and endorsement of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, vouchers, balance sheets, and financial analyses.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting standards across the business.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, sales reporting, collection monitoring, and performance analysis.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Oversee the consolidation and review of operating budgets.
• Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate budget requirements and financial priorities.
• Conduct financial impact analyses and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Coordinate with corporate finance teams on budget submission and approvals.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, government regulations, and company policies.
• Review and validate key financial transactions and reports.
• Lead finance-related projects and initiatives requested by management.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and succession planning within the department.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to organizational capability-building initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of ten (10) years of managerial experience covering accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, and financial controls.
• Experience working with SAP and other enterprise financial systems.
