About the Role
We are seeking a strategic Assistant Vice President – Finance to join our Management Team. Reporting directly to the President, the AVP - Finance will oversee financial planning, accounting, budgeting, cost management, credit & collections, SEC/PSE regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. You will also lead financial process optimization through SAP ERP to drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Reporting: Direct daily finance and accounting operations; ensure timely, accurate, and PFRS-compliant financial statements and management reports.
- Credit & Collections: Monitor customer credit exposure, accounts receivable aging, collection efficiency, and cash flow performance.
- FP&A & Costing: Lead annual budgeting, revenue forecasting, production cost analysis, and variance tracking across business units.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with SEC, PSE, BIR, BOI, and corporate governance mandates; coordinate internal, external, and tax audits.
- Internal Controls: Maintain general ledger integrity, account reconciliations, risk management practices, and asset safeguards.
- Digital Transformation: Optimize financial workflows and reporting capabilities within SAP ERP.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement to support growth initiatives.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead the Finance and Accounting team toward high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required. MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Industry Background: Strong background in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or real estate/construction finance - including cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard/job costing, and profitability analysis.
- System & Regulatory Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (S/4HANA preferred). Deep knowledge of PFRS, Philippine tax regulations, and SEC/PSE compliance for publicly listed companies.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
