Reporting to: Trade Marketing Manager

The Assistant Trade Marketing Manager executes specific trade marketing activities as set out in the Marketing Plan, ensuring timely delivery of tactical initiatives and gathering market insights from sales teams and customers to determine the appropriate marketing initiatives.

Other requirements include the following:

• Effectively manages individuals and teams to optimize their productivity and engagement, including work planning, performance management, development and coaching, and team culture management
• Customizes national trade marketing strategies for specific accounts, channels, brands, and sales groups to maximize effectiveness
• Develops objectives, timelines, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for trade marketing activities that align with the broader brand strategy
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams, agencies, and vendors, to ensure the effective execution of trade marketing plans
• Reviews, analyzes, and makes recommendations based on the results of trade marketing programs and activities, ensuring compliance with standards, processes, and budgets.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar fields of study
• At least three (3) years of experience in trade marketing or field sales
• Understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape
• Team management and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others
• Organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Communication skills to effectively convey ideas and plans to internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in using a variety of tools and software, including Google Suite and analytics platforms
