DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconcile and analyze SAP generated creditable withholding tax (CWT) and expanded withholding tax.
- Ensure all CWTs due for payment are paid on time.
- Ensure all accounts are analyzed, and any discrepancies should be reported directly to the immediate superior.
- Ensure there are no discrepancies between request for payment vs. actual remittance
- Ensure expanded alphalist is tied-up with the payment.
- Review transmittal package (BIR1606, ledger and invoice) for accuracy before submission to sales administration.
- Maintain and update records of filed CWT monitoring file.
- Ensure BIR Zonal Values are updated in SAP.
- Ensure CWT Masterfile is updated.
- Initiate meetings with the Sales administration to resolve any pending issues.
- Communicate with Chinabank regarding any pending CWT returns not submitted on time.
- Recommend process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or any other related business course.
- With at least four (4) years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software. Knowledge in using SAP is preferred.
- Analytical Skills, Detail-Oriented
- With above average written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Amenable to work in Pasay City from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM
