About the role
We are seeking a talented Assistant Store Manager to join our team at SM Appliance Center, a leading retailer of home appliances in the Philippines. As a Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our stores. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision
- Ensure the store meets daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets through effective staff scheduling, merchandising, and customer engagement
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness, product displays, and overall visual presentation to provide an exceptional shopping experience
- Lead and inspire your team of sales associates, providing coaching and training to improve their skills and performance
- Collaborate with the regional and head office teams to implement company policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to enhance store efficiency and profitability
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a retail store supervisor or management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in inventory management, data analysis, and financial reporting
- Adaptable to changes in the retail environment and able to implement new strategies and technologies
- Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
