Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and achieve sales targets by expanding, developing, and retaining the existing Gokongwei Group portfolio.
- Build, nurture, and maintain high-level, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and brokers across the Gokongwei Group.
- Drive account acquisition, renewal, and retention by identifying opportunities and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Analyze and endorse client proposals to immediate superiors based on approved pricing and rate limits provided by the Pricing Team.
- Recommend pricing strategies, benefit packages, and account solutions aligned with client requirements and business objectives.
- Prepare and present client proposals and presentations using pricing and financial information provided by Actuarial and Sales teams.
- Ensure client presentation materials, correspondence, proposals, and other account-related documents are accurate and up to date.
- Analyze utilization data and prepare periodic utilization reports and business reviews for clients and brokers.
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent account visibility, transparent communication, and proactive engagement.
- Provide high-touch assistance and support to VVIP members and executive stakeholders, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
- Monitor outstanding account balances and coordinate with client contacts and internal teams to facilitate timely collection and payment.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Pricing, Actuarial, Operations, Claims, Medical, and other support teams, to ensure seamless account implementation and service delivery.
- Conduct regular account performance reviews and client cadence meetings to discuss service delivery, utilization, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Escalate pricing, benefit, service, and operational concerns to the appropriate internal stakeholders and ensure timely resolution.
- Travel to various Gokongwei Group corporate offices, operational sites, and executive meetings as required.
- Perform ad hoc assignments, special projects, and other related duties as assigned by management to support the overall objectives of the Gokongwei Group portfolio.
- At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management, Corporate Sales, Relationship Management, Business Development, or a similar role.
- Proven experience managing large corporate or strategic accounts, preferably within the healthcare, HMO, insurance, financial services, or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience in account acquisition, renewal, retention, and revenue growth.
- Experience handling C-level executives, decision-makers, VVIP clients, and other high-value stakeholders.
- Strong experience in proposal development, client presentations, pricing discussions, and negotiations.
- Experience working with brokers, intermediaries, or corporate partners is highly preferred.
- Background in analyzing account utilization, financial data, and business performance reports is an advantage.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver client requirements and resolve operational concerns.
- Strong sales, negotiation, account management, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and executive presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret utilization, pricing, and account performance data.
- Highly customer-focused, proactive, and capable of managing high-value and sensitive client relationships.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of corporate account management and revenue growth strategies.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willing and amenable to travel to client offices, operational sites, and meetings as required.
