About the Role
The Assistant Sales Manager leads and motivates the Sales Acquisition team composed of sales executives to meet and exceed team and individual goals. He/She is expected to build a high achieving sales acquisition team to identify sales leads, pitch Lalamove's services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. He/She must be able work well under pressure and exhibits a spirit of excellence.
What you'll do:
- Sales operations: acquire and onboard business users by maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads, and by developing and nurturing professional relationships
- Business development: develop new business opportunities and partnerships with customers. With specific focus on developing the Large Trucks business initiative of Lalamove Pampanga (6w, 10w and 18w trucks)
- Sales standards: identify, formulate and enforce approved Standard Operating Procedures and Policies to support the activity and solve or prevent issues
- Performance: lead and develop a high caliber sales acquisition team who are driven to deliver results. Regularly track the performance of his/her team to close deals and build corrective/improving initiatives
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time

What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Experience inB2B sales, corporate partnerships, or enterprise/client relationship management is highly preferred.
- Experience working in technology, SaaS, fintech, or other fast-growing industries is an advantage.
- Proficient in using sales tools, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and reporting dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing sales and account management teams.
- Must be willing to work within the office on a daily basis and travel for business when / where needed.
