Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila. This role supports the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations, including supervising staff, monitoring service quality, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. Responsibilities include overseeing dining and beverage service, coordinating staff schedules, assisting with hiring and training, and enforcing company policies and health and safety standards. The Assistant Restaurant Manager helps manage inventory, monitors costs and waste, addresses customer feedback, and collaborates with the leadership team to achieve sales, service, and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Food & Beverage knowledge, including familiarity with menu items, food safety standards, and basic restaurant operations.
- Hiring and team support experience, such as participating in recruitment, onboarding, and helping train and coach staff.
- Effective Communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and management, both verbally and in writing.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality supervision or a similar role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management is an advantage.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
