Your impact

  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the project site, leading the site supervision team and acting as the Client's Representative.
  • Monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with design intent, and provide early warnings to the Project Manager and Client regarding potential issues or required decisions.
  • Evaluate and approve contractor payment applications, certify completed work, and ensure unsatisfactory or incomplete work is excluded.
  • Review and approve construction methodologies, inspection test plans, and perform final inspections prior to full certification of works.
  • Manage site supervision resources, identify constraints, and support the Project Manager in operational risk, HSE, quality, and service delivery.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure integration and coordination of civil construction works.
  • Demonstrate experience with FIDIC-based contracts (Yellow/Orange Book) and marine construction requirements.
  • Chair and document key meetings, manage technical issues, and mentor the supervision team to ensure effective risk management and project delivery.

Here's what you'll need

  • Holds a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in infrastructure design and construction.
  • Brings at least 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer, ideally with exposure to Ports & Maritime projects.
  • Demonstrates a successful track record in managing diverse construction teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Familiar with international and local engineering standards, construction methods, and specifications relevant to maritime works.
  • Communicates effectively across teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Open to full-time site assignment, contributing actively to day-to-day project execution and team coordination.
