Assistant Property Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour break
Salary: $1000 per month
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support the management of a diverse real estate portfolio, including office, retail, and residential properties. This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day property operations, coordinating with tenants and vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient communication across stakeholders. The ideal candidate has hands-on property management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of commercial (office and retail) and residential properties
- Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and contractors for maintenance requests and issue resolution
- Support lease administration, including tracking renewals, expirations, and key dates
- Maintain accurate property records, reports, and documentation
- Handle tenant and vendor communications via email and phone professionally
- Assist with rent tracking, invoicing, and basic financial coordination
- Monitor and follow up on maintenance and service requests to ensure completion
- Support reporting and portfolio updates for property performance
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management or a related role
- Experience supporting commercial properties (office/retail) is highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus
