Job Title: Assistant Product Manager (Cosmetics & Personal Care)
The Opportunity
At Suyen Corporation, we take pride in blending local heritage with world-class innovation. As we continue to expand our beauty and personal care footprint, we are seeking a meticulous and creative Assistant Product Manager to take the reins of our locally produced cosmetics line.
This is a high-visibility role where you will touch every stage of a product's journey—from the first spark of a concept to the moment it lands in a customer's shopping bag. If you have a passion for the science of beauty and the strategy of business, this is your stage to shine.
The Mission: End-to-End Lifecycle Management
You won't just be managing products; you will be the guardian of their lifecycle. Your focus will be on ensuring our locally manufactured cosmetics meet the highest standards of quality, trend-relevance, and profitability.
- Conceptualization & R&D: Collaborate with local laboratories and manufacturers to develop innovative formulas that resonate with the Filipino market.
- Product Development: Oversee the Birth-to-Shelf process, including ingredient sourcing, packaging design, and regulatory compliance (FDA Philippines).
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with Marketing and Creative teams to craft compelling narratives and launch campaigns that drive hype and conversion.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to manage product iterations, stock replenishments, or strategic phase-outs.
- Supply Chain Liaison: Work closely with production teams to ensure manufacturing timelines are met without compromising on Suyen's quality benchmarks.
The perfect candidate:
- The Experience: At least 2–4 years of proven experience handling the entire Product Lifecycle (PLC) specifically within the Cosmetics or Pharmaceutical industries.
- The Industry Expert: You are deeply familiar with local manufacturing nuances, formulation standards, and the regulatory landscape of the beauty/health sector.
- The Strategist: You can look at a product roadmap and anticipate bottlenecks in production or shifts in consumer trends before they happen.
- The Communicator: You can bridge the gap between technical lab chemists and creative marketing teams with ease.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
