Assistant Procurement Manager

Nissin-URC is looking for an Assistant Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations and strategic sourcing initiatives while building strong supplier partnerships that support business growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of procurement strategy, optimize end-to-end sourcing processes, and contribute to the long-term development of the procurement function.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives

Lead sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management

Drive cost optimization, budget management, and value creation initiatives

Manage day-to-day procurement operations and lead a high-performing team

Strengthen supplier relationships and ensure continuity of supply

Collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders on procurement projects

Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitalization, and operational efficiency

Support talent development and capability building within the procurement organization

What We're Looking For

with at least 5 years of procurement, supply chain, or related experience

Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes and supplier negotiations

Strong commercial acumen and contract management capabilities

Experience in budget control, cost management, and strategic sourcing

Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills, including proficiency in Excel and procurement analytics tools

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Experience leading teams and driving operational excellence initiatives

Foreign language proficiency (Chinese or Japanese) is an advantage
