The Assistant Manager will be part of the Centre for Future-ready Graduates (CFG) Strategic Planning & Coordination team to ensure effective implementation of core initiatives and alignment with strategic goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Support the Senior Associate Director to develop strategies and approaches to achieve the mentorship programme goals and implement the action plans.
2. Cultivate and maintain partnership with NUSS Secretariat and mentors to advance NUS's commitment in this area.
3. Manage the recruitment of mentees and facilitate the matching of mentees with mentors.
4. Organise the networking and appreciation activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery with a focus on specific outcomes. This role includes active participation in all project phases, from planning to completion, including progress monitoring.
5. Provide guidance and support to mentees in the programme.
6. Develop/curate resources to equip students with skills and knowledge essential for effective engagement and mentorship.
7. Publicise relevant events organised by NUSS members to students for their self-development
8. Manage administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and fulfil reporting requirements associated with responsibilities.
9. Design and curate programmes for staff teambuilding and volunteer days, and overseeing general well-being activities for staff.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree holder from a recognised university with at least 3 years of working experience.
2. Meticulous and able to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with high accuracy.
3. Strong organisational, project management, administrative and documentation skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective decision-making.
5. Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills for interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders.
6. Proficient in outcomes and impact measurement, Microsoft Office Suite, survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics) and online communication tools.
