Job Summary
The Assistant Manager - Workplace Solutions supports the day‑to‑day management of workplace facilities to ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and cost‑effective operations that enable 24/5 BPO service delivery. The role assists in building operations, engineering coordination, EHS compliance, vendor management, and fit‑out and facilities‑related project execution across single or multiple sites, while contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service reliability, and employee experience.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5-7 years of facilities management experience, with 1-3 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Experience supporting large office environments (1000+ employees), preferably within BPO or shared services
- Exposure to multi‑site or regional support is an advantage
- Experience supporting office fit‑outs, renovations, restacking, and minor to medium‑scale capital projects
- Experience coordinating with landlords, designers, project managers, contractors, and service providers
Project, Fit‑Out & Change Management
- Experience supporting end‑to‑end fit‑out and facilities projects, including scope coordination, timelines, budget tracking, and operational handover
- Working knowledge of base build vs. tenant improvements, statutory approvals, testing & commissioning, and as‑built documentation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects concurrently with guidance from senior management
- Experience supporting site expansion, seat ramp‑up, or space optimization initiatives
Automation, Systems & Process Improvement
- Experience using or supporting automation and digital tools within facilities operations, such as:
- CMMS / CAFM systems
- Automated work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset tracking
- Vendor performance and SLA reporting dashboards
- Digital EHS reporting, audits, or incident tracking
- Ability to help streamline manual processes, maintain data accuracy, and support reporting through technology
- Exposure to workplace analytics, reporting automation, or smart building solutions is an advantage
Technical & Regulatory Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Philippine regulatory requirements, including:
- DOLE Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards
- DENR environmental compliance
- BFP Fire Code requirements
- Local building codes and LGU permits
- Basic to intermediate understanding of critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, UPS, generators)
- Experience supporting business continuity, emergency response, and incident management
- Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 is an advantage

- Experience supporting vendor governance, contract administration, and SLA monitoring
- Ability to track OPEX and CAPEX spend and support cost controls
